समझा जाता है कि चुनाव आयोग ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ को उनके ‘मोदीजी की सेना’ वाले बयान के लिए हल्की नाराजगी जताते हुए छोड़ दिया है और भविष्य में उन्हें अपनी टिप्पणियों में सावधानी बरतने को कहा है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक योगी के बयान से चुनाव आयोग संतुष्ट नहीं था और उसने उनसे कहा कि भविष्य में अपने बयानों में अधिक सावधानी बरतें. उन्होंने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग ने आदित्यनाथ से यह भी कहा कि वरिष्ठ राजनेता और महत्वपूर्ण पद काबिज होने के नाते उनके बयान में उनका कद झलकना चाहिए.
बता दें, इससे पहले चुनाव आयोग (Election Commission) ने यूपी के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ (Yogi Adityanath) के ‘मोदी जी की सेना’ वाले बयान पर गाजियाबाद के डीएम से रिपोर्ट मांगी थी. चुनाव आयोग ने मीडिया रिपोर्ट का संज्ञान लेते हुए रिपोर्ट तलब की थी.
चुनाव आयोग ने गाजियाबाद के जिला मजिस्ट्रेट द्वारा प्रस्तुत एक वीडियो क्लिप के आधार पर यह निर्णय लिया, जिसमें रविवार को आदित्यनाथ को वहां की चुनावी रैली में यह टिप्पणी करते हुए दिखाया गया है. चुनाव आयोग ने रविवार को गाजियाबाद की एक सभा में योगी आदित्यनाथ के बयान की वीडियो क्लिप के आधार पर उन्हें कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया था. योगी ने वहां अपने भाषण में कहा था, ‘‘कांग्रेस के लोग आतंकवादियों को बिरयानी खिलाते हैं और मोदी जी की सेना आतंकवादियों को गोली और गोला देती है.”
